I have been landscaping and gardening for 15 years, and probably more. Growing up, I spent much time in the garden with my parents raking, mowing, growing vegetables and climbing trees.
Enjoying the fresh air and spending time amongst the plants and trees always made me feel good. So it is no surprised that I ended up making gardening and landscaping my career.
This website is a place where I store all that I learn about the many great varieties of plants that fill our gardens on the west coast.
I make it a habit to learn about trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, biennials, groundcovers, vines 7 climbers, ornamental grasses & sedges, bulbs, corms, tubers and rhizomes, aquatic and bog plants as as well as edible and culinary plants.
With the advent of artificial intelligence and chatgpt, I have found learning more and more about this subject fun and exciting.
